Year Up's Project Management specialty trains towards foundational skills in working directly with engineering teams while managing projects across cross functional teams. Students learn to create risk management plans; understand process improvement techniques; manage escalations, team dynamics, and stakeholders; create budgets and navigate procurement; utilize project management software, tools, and templates; and practice Agile project management, with an emphasis on Scrum.
