Share your remote-work success story: Slack & Year Up

Year Up is proud to partner with Slack to enable the future of remote work.

Now through September 1st, share your remote work success story on Twitter, using #WhenRemoteWorks and tagging @SlackHQ (or simply reply to this tweet!). For every tweet shared, Slack will donate $5 to Year Up, up to a total of $200,000.

Making Slack’s donation count

COVID-19 has massively affected Year Up’s operations and requires significant investments in technology and trainings for young adults to participate in our program, which has gone fully remote. Slack’s $200K investment could lead to meaningful impact in areas like remote training, mentorship, support, and enablement (getting more hardware to students & interns at home, for example).

Head to @SlackHQ on Twitter to get involved, and help us reach this goal.

About Year Up

Year Up’s mission is to close the Opportunity Divide by ensuring that young adults gain the skills, experiences, and support that will empower them to reach their potential through meaningful careers and higher education. Our core offering is an intensive training & internship program, which consists of training in technical and business skills that leads to an internship with one of our 250+ corporate partners.
