Job training program aims to close racial economic divide

Year Up is a non-profit that offers low-income youth of color six months of intensive job training and a six-month corporate internship in IT, financial operations, project management, quality assurance or customer service. Brandon Jordan, a high school dropout once homeless, had just finished his GED and started the Year Up program when we met him in 2016. Brandon, now a software engineer, talked to CNBC’s Sharon Epperson about how Year Up paved the way for his career.
