Inside the program helping students without college degrees secure jobs in tech

Elijah Evelyn, a Year Up participant from Oakland, shared his journey of realizing the necessity of a four-year degree but facing barriers due to family circumstances. He found hope through the Year Up program, which provides career opportunities for individuals without diplomas. Taylor Brown and Ronald Shackelford, also Year Up alumni, highlighted their transformation from struggling in low-paying jobs to being hired by JP Morgan Chase.
