Kerry Sullivan

Kerry Herlihy Sullivan is the Former President of the Bank of America Charitable Foundation, whose mission is to help advance economic mobility for individuals and families, and to support economic progress in communities across the company’s global footprint.  In this role, Sullivan led a team responsible for philanthropic strategy in support of the company’s commitment to responsible growth through a focus on environmental, social and governance factors. Under her leadership, The Foundation began delivering on a ten-year $2 billion philanthropic giving goal, with a particular focus of serving low-income communities and vulnerable populations.

Sullivan managed strategic relationships with non-profit partners and NGO’s addressing issues related to economic mobility including workforce development and education, community development with an emphasis on affordable housing, and basic needs and disaster relief.  She led the company’s signature philanthropic programs, Neighborhood Builders® and Student Leaders®, which recognize the community leadership and service of nonprofit organizations and students in 48 markets across the U.S., with more than $220 million invested since 2004.  In addition, Sullivan was responsible for the company’s global volunteer program, including the skills-based volunteer corps, Better Money Habits Champions, which supports the company’s purpose to improve financial lives.
