Greg Walton (Vice Chair)

Greg Walton was born in Raleigh, North Carolina but is a native of Boston, Massachusetts, where he has worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for over a decade. He was awarded and MIT Excellence Award in 2017—the highest honor that can be received as staff. In 2010, Greg was the first alum elected to Year Up United's National Board of Directors. Greg also co-founded the Year Up United National Alumni Summit and has mentored many alumni nationally. Greg is passionate about giving back and is a motivational speaker to young people everywhere. He is the father of two children, Greg, Jr. and Gia Jalise.
