How you can become a Year Up student
Classes begin every March and September. Applications are considered on a rolling basis until the class is filled. We encourage you to apply early, as space is limited.
Step 1: Submit an Interest Form
Let us know you’re interested. Fill out a student interest form.
Step 2: Attend an Information Session
Information sessions are held Wednesdays from 2:15pm-3:15pm, Thursdays from 3:30pm-4:30pm, and Fridays from 10:00am – 11:00am unless otherwise indicated. Please call 401.421.7819, ext. 1166 to confirm your attendance at one of these sessions.
Step 3: Complete An Academic Assessment & Submit an Application
Academic Assessments take place immediately following the Information Session or, can be scheduled for a later date. Download an application or fill one out at Year Up.
Step 4: Interviews
If you meet eligibility requirements, our staff will invite you in for an interview. You will need to arrive on time and in professional dress. Applicants will be notified of our admissions decision via telephone or postal mail.
