EARN WHILE YOU LEARN!
Year Up offers job training and internships in Information Technology and Investment Operations. You learn valuable skills, get job experience, earn college credits and get paid while you're learning!

WHY YEAR UP?

Marketable Skills
Technology skills are needed today and are projected to be among the fastest growing in the next ten years! The program is full time, 5 days a week, for one year.

During the first six months, students focus on technical and professional skill development with an emphasis on communication, teamwork, problem solving, and leadership.

During the second six months, students apply their skills in internships with leading local companies. A stipend ranging from $150 - $280 per week will be paid throughout the one-year program.

PROFESSIONAL TRAININg
Year Up students complete the equivalent of five college classes covering technology and business skills. Some locations also offer a Personal Finance/Investment Operations track. Staff members work closely with students to understand each student’s individual strengths and to help them grow.

Industry Mentors
As a Year Up student, you will be matched with a mentor from the local community. Your mentor will be an experienced professional with whom you can ask questions, share ideas, and get a clearer understanding of career options. You will also be assigned a staff advisor to provide you with additional support.
